I discovered this incredible support group through Christal, whom I initially connected with on social media. Before finding this group of incredible people, I felt incredibly isolated in my journey with alopecia, struggling alone with the emotional impact of hair loss. Christal introduced me to this community, and it has truly transformed my experience. Connecting with others who understand what I'm going through and sharing our individual journeys has been invaluable. It's comforting to have conversations with people who get it, and I no longer feel like I'm battling this alone. It's an open forum where everyone feels comfortable being themselves, sharing what has or hasn't worked for them, and even having conversations that aren't related to alopecia at all. Christal has done a phenomenal job bringing this community of people together, and I am truly grateful to be a part of this community.

What We Do
Crown Chronicles is a community for anyone touched by alopecia — whether you're living it yourself or supporting someone who is. We vent, celebrate wins, swap advice, laugh, and cover everything life throws at us. No topic is off limits, and no experience is too big or too small to bring to the table.
Our Principles
Crown Chronicles is built on three principles: respect, privacy, and support.
RESPECT: We come from different backgrounds and different places in our journey. Communicate with kindness, be mindful of your tone, and respect that alopecia affects everyone differently. Some are comfortable sharing openly; others prefer a more private approach — both are completely valid. Be aware of cultural differences and avoid assumptions.
PRIVACY: What's shared in this session stays in this session. Please respect others' privacy by not sharing personal stories or information outside the group without explicit permission. If you prefer to remain anonymous, feel free to use a pseudonym or avoid sharing identifying details. Before offering advice, always ask if the person is open to receiving it — not everyone is looking for solutions at the same pace. The Google Meet link is for registered members only and must not be shared.
SUPPORT: Offer empathy over judgment — every journey is unique, and every feeling is valid. Focus on empowering language and personal growth. Feel free to share resources and information, but always verify credibility before sharing.
Our goal is simple — that everyone leaves feeling heard and valued. If at any point you feel uncomfortable, please don't hesitate to reach out.
When & Where
The crew gathers quarterly on the third Thursday of the month from 7:00 to 8:00 PM EST on Google Meet. I must warn you, we rarely finish on time because we love to chat! Once registered, you'll receive your meeting link. Please keep it for members only.
